Trend Alert: Bib Necklaces!

Hey everyone! So I was looking at some photos for some designer fall fashion shows and I was so happy to see tons of the models wearing bib necklaces! I think bib necklaces are adorable and such a fun way to spice up a plain outfit! Here are some of my picks:

The Look For Less-Party Outfit!

Have you ever wanted to be that girl that makes all heads turn when you walk into that hot party? Well, that could be you! And you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to rock an awesome look.

I was inspired by Shailenne Woodley's outfit (above). It's so classic and chic and the perfect way to turn a casual dress into something a little more dressy. 

This is a lacy pink mini dress I found from BCBG for $47.50. This can be dressed up with a blazer, statement necklace, or flashy heels. Or, you can dress it down by throwing on a denim jacket and sandals or ankle booties.

To cinch in the waist, Shailenne is wearing a skinny gold belt. I found this on for $8.09 from ASOS. You could also go for a black, tan, brown, or silver belt. Whatever fits you style.

For shoes, Shailenne is wearing a gorgeous and chic pair of classic nude pumps. I found this pair from DSW for $44.95. Nude pumps make your outfit a little more sophisticated than your classic black heel. If your not comfortable rocking these shoes, then you can go with wedges or ankle booties too.

For accessories, Shailenne is carrying a black clutch that's very basic and just ties the outfit together. I found this one on Amazon for $8.00. I love the detailing on the front and the embellishment. It just gives a nice flair to a typically simple bag. I also love the little gold clasp on the top. You can choose from tons of different styles and colors to spice up your look.

The Look For Less! Leighton Meester

Personally, I love Leighton Meester's style-- both on Gossip Girl and off. I was inspired by this look because it incorporates a lot of fall trends in one look:

I'm not sure where Leighton's pieces are from/how much they were but I tried to find some cheap alternatives:

One really big fall trend is capes. Leighton is wearing a brown tweed cape style jacket. I couldn't find a very cheap one. (These things are expensive!) The cheapest one i found was this one on karmaloop.com for $90. If you really want to invest in one, capes are awesome and unique fall pieces to incorporate into your wardrobe!

Lace is always in style! It's so cute and girly and I love it! (Especially the dress Leighton is wearing!)

This is a really cute lace dress from Nordstrom's that i found for $46. I know that Forever 21 sells them for cheaper prices, but a lot of them didn't really fit the look I was going for. But if your looking for an affordable lace dress, I recommend going to Forever 21. 

Patterned tights are also super in for fall! They're super cute and very versatile. In Leighton's outfit, they're dressed up, but throw on a skirt and combat boots with your patterned tights to dress them down and you have a super cute outfit for school.

I found this black patterned tights at JCPenney for...wait for it...$7!!! Can you believe that?? And I'm sure some places sell them for an even lower price! Unlike the capes, patterned tights are so easy to get your hands on and there are so many ways to work with them!

I couldn't tell if Leighton was wearing heels or flats in the picture, but flats are much more casual and you can usual find them for cheaper prices then heels. I found these flats at Target for $14.99. I recently got a pair of suede black ballet flats at Wet Seal for $12.50! They're really easy to find and comfortable to wear.

In the photo, Leighton is also carrying a chic clutch. Clutches (especially with bright colors) really spice up your outfit and give an all black outfit a nice pop of color. I found this super cute flowered clutch on Amazon for $14.99.

4. When do you start taking off your nail polish? --> As soon as it starts chipping... I can't stand chipped manicures. They bug me :p
